Why schedule a car seat check?
Engineers and manufacturers continue to improve the design of both cars and car seats to keep kids as safe as possible. In order to take advantage of safety features, it’s up to parents to make sure car seats and boosters are installed correctly.

According to www.safekids.org, road injuries are the leading cause of preventable deaths and injuries to children. When child safety seats are correctly installed, the risk of death can be reduced by 71%.

Register your car seat

It is also important to register your new or currently used car seat so that you can be notified about future recalls. You can complete the registration card that is included with your car seat and mail it in to the manufacturer.  Typically you can also find an information sticker on the car seat that allows you to register online with your car manufacturer.
